The writing committee doesn't have time to "believe" or "disbelieve"... they barely have time enough to copy/paste information from whacky Freddy's repertoir.

The Watchtower's paradise earth marketing strategy... They know that most people would rather live for ever on earth then fly around the boring heavens for eternity doing who knows what... So they have exploited this niche in the market much to the benefit of the Rothschild family.

Didnt I tell you that there is something wrong with this organization?
by exWTslave inthats how my grand mother responded when all of our family members came out of jw organization, either by disassociation or by disfellowshipping.. when we all started studying with jws, my grandmother too was there, but she stopped the study when the discussion over the dead happened.
she told the study conductor: i am convinced that there is only life, but no death.
because when my husband died of heart attack, i was not shaken by the incident.

The New York Public Library is only a short train ride away and is much larger than the UN Library. In fact, the UN Library pales in comparison. So the "library card" excuse simply doesn't fly.... (aside from the fact that, pre-9/11, you didn't have to register as an NGO to have access to the UN Library.)

Will firing the DOs be the first step to a new Watchtower?
by Juan Viejo2 inagainst my better judgement, i've decided to share the following as a response to guy pierce passing and the announcement of the elimination of district overseers later this year.. late in january (2014) i got an email from one of my contacts (a fader) who served at bethel for several years, but is no longer at wt hq.
he still has a lot of close contacts within the service department and in other departments at patterson and knows people in all of the ny offices.
i kept this email set aside on a flash drive and haven't shared it with anyone - figuring i'd publish an article about it later this year when i had more time to do it right.

Just got a call from an elder
by nolongerconfused inso i faded over a year ago...i told the elders that if i needed them i would call them.
1 year and 3 months later, today, i get a call from an elder who used to be my good friend...he calls and i dont pick up..he leaves a voicemail, saying "hello ____, please call me back at 444-444-4444 whenever you can".
i was like wow, this has to be one of those calls to get inactive ones back to the memorial.

I agree with Blondie... Nothing in the "publications" about girl scout cookies...
However, I'm not at all surprized...
In the early 80's, I was scolded by my JW parents for buying girl scout cookies. I was a sophomore or junior in high school at the time so I was naturally pissed for being called out. Then, some weeks later, I was embarrassed during a weekly book study when my mother brought up girl scout cookies again as part of her irrelevant response to a question by the study conductor. I simply lowered my head in utter disbelief... I mean, wtf?
Anyways, the study conductor then made a ridiculous comment about girl scouts cookies having been sold in the past to raise money for the US military. Not sure if this is true or not but who cares what the money was used for in the past? And why boycott the girl scouts over things they are no longer involved in?
--- end of rant --
Maat13... I hope you the best in your escape from this ridiculous cult.

Watchtower-Free
Where did you get this pic?
It's interesting how the Watchtower Corporation had relatively easy access to such lavish freemason-owned venues as Prince Albert Hall. This freemason-owned facility was also the venue for the two largest freemason meetings ever held in England (1887 and 1897)... Prince Albert's son (Albert Edward) was actually a Grandmaster who presided over both of these meetings... (now let the ridiculous comments about extra-terrestrial lizards begin)

March 2014 Kingdom Ministry Page 2 Paragraph 4...
Will this memorial be our last? (1 Cor. 11:26) We do not know. But we do know that once it passes, gone will be a unique oppurtunity to show gratitude. Will you seize it? May the appreciative words of our mouth and the meditation of our heart bring pleasure to Jehovah, the generous Provider of the ransom. -Ps. 19:14.
